The person accused of being the getaway driver for two prisoners who escaped a Hominy correctional facility is now in custody, police say.
The two prisoners, Aaron Victory and Bradley Cherry, were apprehended by US Marshals and McCurtain County Deputies on Tuesday night, police said. Authorities say they escaped the Dick Conner Correctional Center on Nov. 12.
The person accused of driving the prisoners, Jennifer Creacy of McCurtain County, was originally pulled over by Hominy Police early Sunday morning.
Police said her story wasn't adding up, but they did not have enough evidence to arrest her at the time.
That night, police learned of the inmate's escape and through investigation learned she was friends with one of the suspects.
An hour after the prisoners were last seen, flock cameras pinged Creacy's vehicle near the area. Authorities said they were familiar with both the inmate and Creacy due to previous encounters.
On Monday morning, Creacy was involved in a pursuit in Pushmataha County and two males ran from her vehicle, police said.
Both inmates are convicted felons for theft and drug charges, which is what their current sentences are for, officials said.
