A 16-year-old and a 40-year-old man are dead after shots were fired during a gathering at a home Sunday morning in Tulsa, police said.
Tulsa Police identified the victims as Tyrell Junior, 16, and Adam Balance, 40.
Three other males were also hit by gunfire, according to the Tulsa Police Department. A 20-year-old was shot in the leg and hip, an 18-year-old was hit and may be paralyzed, and a 15-year-old is in critical condition, police said.
Their names have not been released.
The shooting happened at a home near Apache Avenue and Harvard Street, where police were called at 1:57 a.m.
Police said that a dispute started between Junior and a guest that led to gunfire when the teen and his friends were asked to leave.
Junior and a 15-year-old were armed, police said. Police report that over a dozen people, including children, were at the home during the shooting.
Balance was armed with a semi-auto rifle while asking the teens to leave and gunfire was exchanged once outside, police said.
Police said Balance shot and killed the Junior at the scene. Balance was shot and taken to the hospital where he died, police said.
TPD also said the 20-year-old is the son of Balance, who opened fire on the 15-year-old once his father was shot.
