Multiple Water Main Breaks Reported Across Tulsa

The extremely cold temperatures have led to multiple water main breaks across the Tulsa area.

One of 12 water main breaks is near 4th and Elgin in downtown Tulsa. Water can be seen rushing into the roadway.

The break at Elgin is reported to be a 16 inch line, which is one of the larger lines.

A representative from the marking company is working to mark the utilities. It's a routine operation that must be done before crews can begin digging.

The break most likely won't be worked on until later this morning.
