Frozen and busted pipes have been a major problem across the Tulsa area over the last few days, and it has plumbing companies working nonstop.
Pipes have been freezing, bursting, then flooding in businesses and homes around Green Country.

Roto Rooter said no matter how much you can prepare, the sub-zero temperatures can still cause problems.
CEO Kyle Brierly said his plumbing company has received four times as many calls as normal over the last few days.
Brierly said the biggest concern is pipes bursting at warehouses and businesses.
Plumbing companies suggest preparing for cold weather by opening kitchen and bathroom cabinet doors to allow warmer air to circulate.
They also suggest letting cold-water drip from the faucet. However, Brierly said it's possible pipes can burst even with taking these precautions.
“Mostly we see it on the north-facing walls if the pipes are against the north-facing wall. Because the windshield really zaps the heat out of that wall. Insulation doesn’t create heat and keep the heat in. So, if you do drip that water what you’re doing is just introducing heat," Brierly said.
Brierly said if you go to use the water and nothing comes out, you should turn off the water at the main shut off valve. You can also contact your local plumber if you need help finding it.
