A new Tulsa community center is having a major impact on its neighborhood, and it's only been open for a few weeks.
From church services to a gym and workout facility, Crossover Community Impact wants everyone to know its doors are open to all.
Just in the first few weeks, the community center has seen nearly 100 people make use of its workout facility.
Crossover Community Impact is more than a gym. People have had wedding receptions, come for ballet classes, and take time to improve themselves both physically and mentally.
"Health is wealth. And we want to be a beacon of hope and joy for the families in North Tulsa, as well as being able to have a place for them to feel safe. We have security here. They walk around and they interact with our members as well," said Tomika Gray, Crossover Community Impact Director of Sports and Fitness.
Crossover Community Impact said it's always open to suggestions as to what else it can offer the community.
