Several couples are celebrating Valentine's Day by saying "I Do."
The Tulsa County Courthouse's Satellite Office married about 40 couples today in Broken Arrow.
There's no better day to remember what you love most about someone than Valentine's Day.
"Her personality, she's goofy, she's funny, she's just amazing," said Caleb Jackson.
"The way he makes me laugh, how he's thoughtful and takes care of me," said Heather Jackson.
And now, with an anniversary, they won't forget, Caleb and Heather Jackson are husband and wife.
"It felt like a special day, Valentine's Day, to share your love and commitment to each other, just a good day, I think," the couple said.
They are one of several couples who decided to get married at the Tulsa County Courthouse Satellite Office in the Rose District.
Court Clerk Don Newberry says it's simple: you get your marriage license, they have an officiant ready to go, and you say I do.
"By the end of the day, maybe we will have 30, 40, something like that; that's what our track record has in the past," he said.
But you do have to have witnesses.
Phillip and Linda Medlin's witnesses couldn't make it, so photographer Rodney Stringer and Reporter Jordan Tidwell stepped in to watch the two make it official.
They've known each other for 50 years but have been dating a few months after they both lost their spouses years ago.
"And after that, we got together to console one another, and that led to going out, and here we are," Phillip said.
Now, here they are as husband and wife, off to go celebrate and smiling about getting married on such a special day.
"Because I love her. And we wouldn't forget the date; we forget a lot of things," Phillip said.
The office is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
