The City of Collinsville is celebrating its 125th anniversary as a city this year, and it's selling bricks as part of the celebration.

The bricks were laid out as part of the original road in Collinsville more than 100 years ago.

Each brick is going to be laser engraved to signify 125 years.

Sherry Campbell, the community outreach coordinator for Collinsville, said these bricks are pieces of history.

The city chose to sell bricks because they have been a big part of the city's history.

"The brick company in Collinsville was a very big piece of our history. We were one of the biggest brick companies in the state of Oklahoma. We supplied bricks all over the country," Campbell said.

Each brick is being sold for $125 and the money raised from the sales will go toward other events to celebrate the 125th anniversary.
