Woman Accused Of Shooting, Killing Man Outside Tulsa Home In Custody

The woman accused of shooting and killing a 40-year-old man on Wednesday has been arrested, police confirm.

Detectives with the Tulsa Police Department confirmed Kerri Stevens, 40, was arrested and being transported to the Tulsa County jail.

According to investigators, Jeremy Wilkes, 40, was found suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper body in front of the home near Latimer and Yale just before 1 a.m. on Wednesday.

Investigators said Wilkes died from his injuries at the scene.

Tulas Police have confirmed that Kerri Jo Stevens, 37, is accused of shooting Wilkes and has been charged with murder in the first degree.

Police were searching for Stevens since the shooting and she's now in custody.
