Tulsa Police are looking for a man after they say he was caught on a homeowner's security camera in Tulsa performing a sex act on himself.
“She reviewed it and saw a male come up, ring her doorbell. He had removed his pants. He then takes a chair and moves it so he can look in a window of the house, and at that point in that video, you can see him touching himself,” said Lt. Darin Ehrenreich.
Ehrenreich is with TPD's Special Victims Unit and says this kind of brazen crime is extremely disturbing.
“If they're willing to do that, you know, there's no telling what else they are willing to do. I mean, those, those nonphysical sex crimes, often do escalate into physical sex crime,” said Ehrenreich.
Tulsa Police get hundreds of indecent exposure reports a year and say these incidents are rarely a first-time offense.
“I can look at so many cases where we've identified serial offenders have made arrests, and then once those arrests become public, we have so many people come forward after that,” said Ehrenreich.
Police say if you are the victim of an indecent exposure — report the crime immediately.
Police ask if you recognize this man to call CrimeStoppers at 918-596-COPS.
