This past Sunday, LeAnne Taylor had the honor of speaking at a women’s tea hosted by First Methodist in Broken Arrow, where she shared the powerful story of her journey through breast cancer.
The event had an impressive turnout, with many women coming together to hear her inspiring message.
In anticipation of the upcoming Race for the Cure on Saturday, Sept. 17, the group surprised LeAnne with a donation to her race team.
In addition to the donation, they also presented her with a special gift: a glass hippo figurine, which she found incredibly meaningful. Though the donation brought her to tears, the personal and thoughtful gift touched her even more.
As the event wrapped up, the women revealed they had another gift, but this one was for Tess Maune. LeAnne was handed a beautiful handmade quilt, crafted by Dawn Frederick.
