The University of Tulsa men’s basketball team has announced its complete 2024-25 schedule, featuring 18 home games at the Donald W. Reynolds Center.
Head coach Eric Konkol expressed excitement about the season, which kicks off with an exhibition against Missouri S&T on Oct. 29 and an opener against Northeastern State on November 4. Key matchups include the 59th Mayor’s Cup against Oral Roberts on Nov. 13, and a road game against Missouri State on November 16.
Thanksgiving week brings the Jacksonville Classic, where Tulsa will play two games, with opponents yet to be determined. A notable home game against Oklahoma State is scheduled for Dec. 4, emphasizing the importance of in-state rivalries.
After hosting Southern University on Dec. 7, the Hurricane will face UCF at the Orange Bowl Classic in Florida before concluding nonconference play with home games against Mississippi Valley State and Southwestern Christian.
Tulsa opens American Athletic Conference play at home against Rice on Jan. 1, followed by road games at UAB and UTSA. The team will return to face Charlotte on Jan. 11 and South Florida on January 18.
The schedule includes a three-game homestand and tough matchups at Tulane and Memphis in early February. The season wraps up with home games against Tulane and Temple, finishing against Wichita State on March 9.
Konkol noted the competitive nature of the conference, anticipating multiple NCAA Tournament bids this season.
