OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- State Emergency Management officials say wildfires have damaged 869 homes, including 300 that were destroyed, since November 27th.
Emergency Management spokeswoman Michelann Ooten says the latest damage assessment followed a round of fires last week that damaged 86 homes in Lincoln and Stephens counties.
Oklahomans who sustained damage to their homes and businesses in the wildfires can apply for state and federal disaster assistance by calling FEMAs toll-free registration number 1-800-621-FEMA.
