The body of 24-year-old David Perryman Jr. has been found in the Arkansas River.

Officials say the body was found about 9 AM Tuesday about a mile down river from where he disappeared while swimming with friends.

The medical examiner was on scene when the body was found and ruled Perryman's death a drowning.
