52 Tulsa workers are awarded more than a million dollars for working in an abusive environment.

A federal judge in Tulsa has ruled the John Pickle Company locked up dozens of employees from India in its Tulsa factory.

Court documents say managers would threaten the men as they worked for less than $3 an hour. Still, the judge only awarded a fraction of the $5.5-million attorneys for the workers were seeking.

Ken Felty: "No, we're not happy with the amount, and I don't know how much money would have been appropriate, considering what these guys went through. But at the same time, I don't want to be a whiner. I don't want to appear ungrateful."

Split up, the verdict amounts to just more than $20,000 per employee.
