One person is dead after a Friday morning accident. It happened at about 145th East Avenue and Port Road.

Authorities say the driver of a dump truck was trying to turn left, when a car ran into the back of the truck. The car driver was killed. The truck driver was not hurt.

We don't know if weather played a roll in the accident.
