Tulsa Police are searching for a suspect who attacked a local woman, then stole her purse and her car. Now she's speaking out, to warn others.

The victim, who will remain unidentified, says she was attacked while getting into her car in a busy store parking lot in the middle of the afternoon.

She says her attacker tried to force her into her own car at gunpoint. "He said if you don't get in I'll kill you, he didn't have the gun pointed at me so I said no you won't. I reached up and I grabbed the gun."

She says she screamed and thought someone would help, but no one did, because the man had a gun.

He -did- let her go when she refused to get into the car. Tulsa Police recovered her vehicle, but are still looking for the suspect.

He is described as a white male, fair-skinned with short, blond hair, about 5 ' 10" to six feet tall, weighing 150 to 160 pounds.
