TULSA, OK -- When disaster strikes, Oklahoma's Task Force One answers the call for help.
The men and women who make up the Urban Search and Rescue team spent time Wednesday sharpening their skills.
Half the team is in Tulsa, the other half Oklahoma City. But, once a year they come together to work on a variety of things including canine searches.
"When he arrives on a disaster he thinks I'm going to go find somebody to play with me," said Roger Fourkiller, canine search specialist.
"So we send him across a rubble pile, and he's looking to go find somebody to play with."
Oklahoma's Task Force One is modeled after the same FEMA teams used recently to find earthquake victims in Haiti.
