TULSA, OK -- Tulsa police officers and Safe Kids Tulsa gave parents peace of mind Saturday at Lacy Park.

They say four out of five car seats are not installed properly. So, along with giving away free booster seats, volunteers made sure they were installed correctly.

"We realize that still kids are dying because they're not being buckled in correctly. We've committed to come out into the community, making sure that these kids are safer than when they arrived here," said Debra Dickens, Tulsa Police.

This is the tenth year the Tulsa Police Department and Safe Kids Tulsa have teamed up to offer the free car seats and safety check.
