Justin Blackmon took to the 40-yard dash at Friday's Oklahoma State Pro day and smashed any doubts about his speed resume with an official time of 4.46 seconds.

"That was around the area I wanted. I felt good today. I ran well and overall, I thought I did a pretty good job," Blackmon said. "I was trying to shoot for a 4.45. That was kind of in my head. Anywhere between there and a 4.5 would be good, and I just tried to shoot for that."

Blackmon along with former OSU quarterback Brandon Weeden and a handful of other Cowboys tested their skills for top NFL scouts and coaches from all 32 teams inside Boone Pickens Stadium.

Denver head coach John Fox, Chicago Bears head coach Lovie Smith and Vikings head coach Leslie Frazer were all in attendance for the final performances before this year's NFL draft.

Weeden clocked an unofficial 40-yard dash time in the 4.8 second range.

"I don't think (the scouts) expected me to run the way I did," Weeden said. "I think I've thrown the ball well. I think with all the games on tape, the Senior Bowl, the Combine and this, I think teams will hopefully recognize my ability to throw the football. It will all work out. It's a long process, but it's a fun one, and we have six weeks left until the day everybody is looking forward for."

Weeden's 4.45 in the 20-yard shuttle was the fastest among non-receivers or cornerbacks.

"Had a great time at pro day," added Weeden via his personal Twitter account after Pro Day. "Felt good with everything! It was nice to compete with my mates one last time!"

Other big notes from Friday's workout include that John Elway was on hand and seemed to be watching every move by Brandon Weeden who had a great all-around performance on the day.

Jarrod Fields had the top vertical at 39 inches followed by Hubert Anyiam, who hasn't played since injuring his ankle in the Missouri game, with 36.5 inch vertical jump.

On the bench press, Nick Martinez blasted out 32 reps of the 225 pound weight for the top number on the day.

"It's bittersweet," Blackmon said. "I'm happy to see what's in store for the future, but Oklahoma State was a great place to play and I enjoyed my four years here."
