TULSA, Oklahoma - Tulsa Fire says a fire at an apartment complex at 23rd and Garnett left seven adults and 11 children without a place to stay Tuesday morning. 

Firefighters were driving by when they saw smoke and flames coming from a Village East Apartment building housing four apartments.

Fire officials say the cause of the fire which heavily damaged the four apartments remains under investigation.

Firefighters say there were no reports of any injuries.

The Tulsa Area American Red Cross responded to the complex to assist impacted residents with immediate needs, according to Donita Quesnel, American Red Cross.

They are providing financial assistance for a place to stay, food and clothing for the four families who lost their homes.
