Poteau 6 Year Old With Life-Threatening Illness Gets Disney Trip

Friday was a very big day for six-year-old Jaclynn Goines from Poteau.

Princess Jaclynn boarded a magical plane at Tulsa International Airport decorated in all things "Frozen."

The Something Magic Foundation and American Airlines flew Jaclynn and 35 other children with life-threatening illnesses to a 70-acre resort in Orlando for a week-long vacation.

Jaclynn's father, Scott Goines, said his little girl can't wait to meet some real life princesses.

"I'm just looking forward to seeing her face just glow. That's all me and her mom want,” he said.

One of the terminals at T.I.A. was transformed into something straight out of a Disney movie, with princesses, castles, carriages and balloons.

There was even a princess cake to eat before the big flight.
