Thunder's McGary To Miss Six Weeks With Fractured Foot

Oklahoma City rookie forward Mitch McGary played well in his preseason debut – but it'll be a while until he gets a chance to try again.

The Thunder announced on Thursday that the 21st pick in the 2014 NBA Draft is expected to miss six weeks with a fractured left foot. He injured it in the Thunder's preseason opener at Denver on Wednesday night. If the timeline holds, McGary should return around mid-November and would miss around an eighth of the season.

McGary missed most of his sophomore season at Michigan with back problems, eventually receiving surgery.
