TULSA, Oklahoma - Showers and fog cover parts of eastern Oklahoma Friday morning and the wet weather is expected to stick around into the afternoon.

According to News On 6 meteorologist Alan Crone rain has taken more of northern track across southeast Kansas but eastern Oklahoma could experience additional showers into Friday afternoon as the storm system crosses the state.

Looking ahead to the weekend, Crone says it should be dry until at least late Sunday and early Monday when another storm system moves across Oklahoma.
