GROVE, Oklahoma - Three separate accidents – two fatality accidents and one resulting in multiple injuries – have been reported on Grand Lake.

About 2:20 p.m. Saturday, Grand River Dam Authority officers responded to a boating accident in the Duck Creek area.

The accident resulted in one death and three others being taken to a hospital in Grove for treatment. One other passenger in the boat was treated and released from the hospital.

GRDA police Chief Brian Edwards said they are also working a boat fire accident near Monkey Island at Tera Miranda Marina.

That accident resulted in nine people being sent to a local hospital. Three of those people were taken to a Tulsa hospital by medical helicopter.

A third accident was reported on Lake Hudson, near Highway 82 bridge, south of Langley. The single-boat accident resulted in one death, Edwards said.
