Police Arrest Suspect In Tulsa Bar Shooting; Victim Clinging To Life
TULSA, Oklahoma - Tulsa police have identified a man who is a suspect in a Tulsa bar shooting.
TPD says Watani Phinnes Gleason, 33, has been arrested for shooting another man at Mama T’s Big Easy bar at 65th and Peoria early Saturday morning.
Gleason was found at his residence and arrested about 8 p.m. on Saturday. He was booked on a shooting with intent to kill complaint and is being held without bond due to the severity of the victim’s wounds, TPD Sgt. Dave Walker said.
Late Saturday, Walker said the victim is alive, but doctors have not given much hope for his survival. His identity has not been released.
Walker said it appears the incident began with an altercation inside the bar then moved outside and that is where the victim was shot multiple times and once in the head.
