A small earthquake shook up residents near Perry, Oklahoma Sunday afternoon.
The 3.1 magnitude earthquake struck at approximately 1:30 p.m. Its epicenter was located 13 miles west of Perry, 21 miles east, southeast of Enid, 27 miles north of Guthrie, and 55 miles north of Oklahoma City.
It was less than a mile deep.
At this time, no one has reported any damages or injuries associated with this quake.
According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely with quakes at magnitudes 4.0 and higher.
