The current head of NASA says when the nation goes back to the moon, we'll be staying.
Former Oklahoma Congressman Jim Bridenstine made the statement during an interview with Pat Campbell on our sister state, Talk Radio 1170 KFAQ.
Bridenstine discussed the future of NASA, including going back to the moon and possibly even to Mars. He says when astronauts next land on the moon, it will be to set up permanent operations.
Listen to the whole interview here.
Bridenstine told Campbell about how NASA is helping track Hurricane Florence.
At one point he joked that he's responsible for all of NASA's accomplishments since he became administrator four months ago.
