NORTH PLATTE, Nebraska - Authorities say a pilot was not injured Monday when his small airplane's landing gear collapsed at a western Nebraska airport.
They say the pilot was landing the Beechcraft Bonanza when the landing gear collapsed.
They say the pilot, who they did not identify, took off from Tulsa before landing at the North Platte Regional Airport at around 10 a.m.
Airport manager Sam Seafeldt says the gear collapsed after the plane touched down, causing the plane to slide on its belly.
