TULSA, Oklahoma - A Tulsa police cruiser suffered significant damage after a crash with another car after around 1 a.m. Sunday morning.

Officers say the cruiser was heading eastbound on Pine Street approaching Greenwood Avenue when a citizen traveling the opposite direction made an "abrupt turn" hitting the police car.











The impact sent the officer's car off road completely destroying a bus stop shelter. EMSA responded to the scene but Police say the driver and the officer will be okay. TPD has not confirmed if the citizen received a ticket.
