Tulsa Public Schools Holds Naming Dedication For Elementary

Tulsa Public Schools will hold a naming dedication ceremony for Council Oak Elementary school.

The new name replaces the former Lee Elementary school name.

The school is located just west of 21st Street and Peoria.

TPS says the ceremony Friday is intended to help in building an understanding of the Council Oak namesake.

The ceremony is scheduled for 8:30 Friday morning.
