17-Year-Old Charged In Thanksgiving Shooting Death

A 17-year-old male has been charged as an adult in the Thanksgiving death of a Tulsa County homeowner.

Brendon Davis has been charged with first-degree murder and second-degree burglary in the death of Staijeck Helm.

Deputies say Helm heard someone breaking into his truck, then came out to confront Davis, who then shot and killed him.

A second suspect, Bambi Dawn Ashley, has been charged as an accessory to murder. Investigators said she helped Davis hide evidence connected to the shooting.
