Semi Rollover Crash Closes Tulsa Highway Ramp

All lanes of Interstate 244 are open again.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol closed the westbound ramp from Interstate 44 near 129th East Avenue on Thursday morning because of a semi rollover crash. For several hours, while the wreck was being cleared, westbound traffic was diverted to westbound I-44.

Crews had to cut out the top of the semi-trailer and use machines to take out all the school bus axles that it was hauling.

Troopers say the driver of the semi wasn’t hurt in the wreck.
