Severe weather is making its way across northeastern Oklahoma, bringing with it rain, wind, and threats of tornadoes.
The storm brought power outages as well as several downed limbs to the Tulsa area Tuesday.
In Broken Arrow, Country Lane Primary, Country Lane Intermediate, Centennial MS, and Lynn Wood Elementary were without power for part of the day. Students were moved into classrooms with windows so they would have some light.
The district reported lights back on just before 2 p.m.
Preliminary reports show that the same system produced 8 tornadoes in central Oklahoma earlier Tuesday morning.
