A Tulsa man is in jail after a witness reported a possible kidnapping from a parking lot at Tulsa's Union High School. Austawn Antonio Alfred was booked Monday evening on complaints of domestic assault and battery, kidnapping and larceny from a person.
Police were dispatched to 66th and Mingo after the witness called 911. They say Austawn Alfred was arguing with his girlfriend then punched her and pulled her into his car.
Alfred, 21, reportedly took the victim's phone, but she was eventually able to get it and call her mother, records show.
Police interviewed the victim who told them Alfred took her keys and phone from her and refused to give them back. She also confirmed that he pulled her into his car and drove off, police said.
He's being held on a $27,000 bond.
