Man Armed With Knife Tries, Fails To Rob Tulsa Adult Theatre

Police look for a man armed with a knife who attempted to rob Tulsa's Midtown Adult Theatre early Monday. 

Officers were called to the store in the 300 block of East 3rd Street at 12:20 a.m., after a clerk told police a man wearing a black ski mask tried to rob him.

Police say the masked man walked behind the store's counter and demanded money.  They say the clerk closed the register when the man pulled out a knife.  The clerk then stated he was going to call police.  The man then left.

Officers searched the area around the store but didn't locate the robber.
