Car Crashes Into Claremore Salon

A Claremore business closed Friday after a car barreled into the building.

JLS Salon and Spa's owner, Jamie Peckham, said a guest accidentally hit the gas pedal, drove into the building and crashed into the spa area just before 9:00 a.m.

She said one employee was inside the building at the time but wasn't seriously injured.

"She's seven months pregnant, so we're just sending lots of prayers and love her way right now," Peckham said.

The salon plans to re-open as soon as the damage is cleaned up.

In a Facebook post, the salon says they will be closed Friday but will re-open Saturday.
