Elderly Couple Found Dead After Murder-Suicide, Cleveland Police Say

An elderly couple has been found dead in Cleveland in what police say was a murder-suicide.

Cleveland police say the couple, who were in their 70s, were found outside on the back porch of a home.

Police say a family member discovered them on the porch around 5:45 Monday evening.

Police Chief Clint Stout says this is the first murder his department has investigated during the six years he’s been the police chief.  He also says he can’t even remember the last time there was a murder in Cleveland city limits.

Police say the Medical Examiner is on the way and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has been called to assist in the investigation.
