Tulsa Man Critically Hurt In Avery Drive Crash

A Tulsa man has critical injuries after wrecking his car near Sand Springs. Oklahoma Highway Patrol says just after midnight Monday, October 1, 37-year-old Stephen Conner was heading east on Avery Drive two miles east of Sand Springs.

Troopers say for some reason, he went off the road, hit a power pole and rolled his SUV several times down an embankment.

Paramedics took him to a Tulsa hospital after firefighters got him free. 

A collision report states Conner wasn't wearing a seat belt. His condition before the wreck and the cause of the crash are under investigation.
