The Wagoner County Sheriff's Office identified the suspect and victim in a deadly stabbing near Broken Arrow.

Miranda Ree is charged with 1st-degree murder and wanted by deputies in the death of Bryan Chaney.

The Wagoner County Sheriff said this is their first homicide of the year. But he said it didn't come as a surprise at this particular house.

Sheriff Chris Elliott said they seized narcotics and stolen items out of the same home just a few weeks ago.

Elliott said deputies found a man stabbed and in critical condition when they arrived at the home.

The medical examiner's office identified the victim as Bryan Chaney.

"He found two people inside the house who were attempting to perform CPR on the stabbing victim," Elliot said.

Elliott said two people were interviewed but two others left the scene, including suspect Miranda Ree.

"We feel like she's going to have the most knowledge about what were the circumstances going on inside that house that resulted in the victim being stabbed," Elliot said.

Deputies believe Ree is with Shaun Williams of Broken Arrow.

They may be driving a black Ford Taurus or black Mercury Sable.

The two were last seen in the Claremore area.

Court records show Ree is on suspended sentences for drug convictions.

Sheriff Elliott said his deputies have been to the crime scene before.

"The Wagoner County Sheriff's Office is familiar with this house," Elliot said.

News On 6 was there earlier this month as deputies found stolen items and narcotics inside the home.

The sheriff said they'll continue working this case until they have all the answers.

"We don't stop investigating just because we're tired and we've been up 12-18 hours," Elliot said.

Sheriff Elliott said if you have any information about Miranda Ree, call the Wagoner County Sheriff's Office.
