Health Department Inspecting Tulsa State Fair Food Vendors Before Festivities Begin

The Tulsa State Fair is less than 24 hours away!

Food vendors are getting ready and, regardless of whether they serve Deep Fried Sea Salt Caramel Bacon Brownie Balls or a good ol’ fashioned corndog, they have to first pass an inspection.

The Tulsa Health Department inspected all 250 food vendors Wednesday.

“We work very hard to ensure that the food that everyone looks forward to, all the deep-fried food fun, is safe and is produced in a safe environment,” said Ashley Davis from the Tulsa Health Department.

The health department will also be doing spot checks throughout the fair to make sure everything stays up to code.
