Driver Critical Following Tulsa County Head-On Crash

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a Tulsa man was taken to the hospital in critical condition following a Tuesday afternoon crash west of Tulsa.

Troopers say they received several calls about 36-year-old Jay Kruithof's erratic driving prior to the 4:41 p.m. crash. 

The OHP report states Kruithof was driving north in a 2000 Chrysler Sebring on South 49th West Avenue near 41st Street South when he went over a hill, apparently crossing the center line and hitting a pickup head on.

The driver of the northbound 2014 Ford F-150 truck, Jennifer Blair, 38, of Tulsa was treated and released from the hospital following the crash.

The OHP says Kruithof was pinned and was extricated by the Berryhill Fire Department.
