Tulsa Police say a 5-year-old child was hit by a car in front of Jarman Elementary School Wednesday morning, September 19. The school is located near 81st and Mingo.
The boy's mother was dropping him off when he ran in front of a slow-moving Acura, according to Tulsa Police. Officers say the boy went up on the car's hood to the windshield, but he wasn't badly hurt.
Officers say the boy complained of leg pain, but he was doing well and able to talk to them at the scene. We're trying to get an update on his condition.
The driver wasn't cited because there was no crosswalk where the child was hit.
