Tulsa police are investigating a violent home break-in near 46th Street and North Peoria that sent a man to the hospital.

Police say two men kicked in the front door of the victim’s home, hit him with a gun, and then shot him twice.

Officers say they don’t yet know the motive for the break-in and shooting.

They say the victim went outside after the men left and a neighbor called police for him.

Police say they don’t have a good description of the men at this time and that witnesses and family members aren’t being very cooperative.
