Two Owasso Women Arrested For Robbery

Owasso police arrested two people suspected of stealing from a T.J. Maxx store and choking a security guard.

Officers say Venus Brown and Carolyn Clark took several clothing items Tuesday night. According to investigators when a security guard approached them Brown grabbed the guard by the throat and threatened to cut her. Brown and Clark were able to get to their car and drive away.

Police say they spotted the pair driving near 8600 N Main and pulled them over. Police then took both suspects into custody on charges of Conspiracy and Conjoint Robbery. Brown was also charged with Driving without a License.
