A Tulsa woman is settling into her brand-new three-bedroom home.
Tamica Morrison and her son Robert got the keys to their new Habitat for Humanity house at a special ceremony Thursday.
Morrison successfully completed financial education courses and volunteer work in preparation for buying the house.
"Tamica worked extremely hard to get to the point to where she could actually purchase a home, and we’re just so thankful and proud for all of her commitment and hard work,” said Cameron Walker, Tulsa Habitat for Humanity CEO.
After hours of work with crews building her home, Morrison said she's excited to have a place to call her own.
