Tulsa Teen Pleads Not Guilty To Teacher's Murder, Other Charges

A Tulsa teen pleaded not guilty to more than 20 charges Monday including first-degree murder, first-degree rape and kidnapping. Deonte Green is charged with the death of Broken Arrow teacher Shane Anderson during what police say was a crime spree in October, 2017.

Prosecutors say the 17-year-old raped an elderly woman after kidnapping her and her husband. He's also charged with several counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon, attempted armed robbery, burglary and sexual battery, among other charges.

Green was arraigned before Judge Kelly Greenough and was represented by public defender Marny Hill. 

The judge set a trial date of 9 a.m. Monday, April 1, 2019. His next court date is December 17.
