A Tulsa man is suing the city and the Tulsa Police Department after he says officers assaulted him during an August 2017 arrest.
Jack Morris pleaded guilty in October 2017, to obstruction and resisting an officer.
At the time of his arrest, police were searching for a suspect near Morris' barn. Officers told Morris to stay back, but he says he just wanted to check on and calm down his horses. During his arrest, officers sprayed Morris with pepper spray.
Jack Morris says police continued to beat him despite giving himself up.
