At the time of his arrest, police were searching for a suspect near Morris' barn.  Officers told Morris to stay back, but he says he just wanted to check on and calm down his horses.  During his arrest, officers sprayed Morris with pepper spray.

Jack Morris says police continued to beat him despite giving himself up.
