Former BA Teacher Charged With Lewd Molestation Back In Court

A former Broken Arrow teacher accused of molesting several elementary school students is due in court for a preliminary hearing.

Edward Hodge, 55, is charged with four counts of lewd molestation.

He pleaded not guilty to the charges back in June.  Edward Hodge resigned in May. 

Court records show the victims are all between 10 and 12 years old.  They also show a parent contacted the school, concerned about Hodge’s behavior towards her daughter. 

During Hodge’s interview with the superintendent, the Broken Arrow Police affidavit says, the former teacher said he knew he messed up, that he had a problem.

Hodge was a 5th grade teacher at a Broken Arrow Elementary school and had been with the district over a decade.
