Crews Unable To Find Leaking Natural Gas Well In Tulsa

The search for an abandoned and leaking natural gas well in south Tulsa is stopped, for now.

The Oklahoma Corporation Commission says its contractors were unable to find the source of gas.

They have dug up several yards and part of a street trying to find a well that was closed off in the 1950s.

Now, the state plans to install a venting system to ensure the gas doesn’t build up underneath homes.
