Boy Scouts Retiring Flags In Broken Arrow

Some Green Country boy scouts are making sure American flags are retired properly this Fourth of July.

People dropped off tattered and torn flags at Heritage United Methodist Church in Broken Arrow on Wednesday.

Boy Scouts Troop 3 collected the flags and will retire them with dignity as a service to the community.

The troop says retiring flags is a way of celebrating the birth of our nation and promoting good citizenship.
